Frequently asked questions.
How do I know if I am a good person?
The dog who cries after it kills is no better than the dog who does not cry. Your guilt does not absolve you of sin.
What if my suffering is in vain?
Everything, every pursuit, every action, every breath, every love, every second of anger, each moment of agony, the countless seconds of desolation, the final gasps of air you take are all in vain. You can only enjoy the taste of blood in your mouth for a moment, then it is gone.
How do I get lucky?
Probability is distributed amongst the population evenly and without bias. In order to increase the likelihood of a desirable outcome occurring you must increase the number of primary inputs in the given domain.
How do I live with sacrifices I cannot undo?
Understand that you have made these tradeoffs within a rational state of mind. You have chosen this path. Go all in.
What meaning is left if everything ends in decay?
You must derive a meaning despite the futility.
What if I am ordinary?
You likely are. Reinvent yourself.
How do I forgive myself for what I have done?
Do not forgive yourself.
What if I do not have what it takes?
The earth will swallow you whole.
What if I never escape the life I was born into?
You likely will not.
Why do I feel alone despite being surrounded by people?
I'm not sure.
Who should I blame when everything in my life becomes rotten?
You may only blame yourself. When you bleed I do not feel it.
What am I supposed to do with my life?
Find the effort equivalent of a mechanical vice and fight against it until you lose. You may then witness the observers fight amongst themselves for your remains.
How much of my life is actually my fault?
All of it.
Why do I feel inferior when others succeed?
You haven't left everything out on the field. You have earned your inferiority.
What if I never become the person I planned to be?
You will likely convince yourself that your new life of failure is what you wanted all along. In reality you have earned your life of mediocrity.
How do I know if I’m wasting my potential?
Every second rots between your fingertips. You have wasted your hours and days up until this point; humans are strangely consistent. If you would like to change you must reinvent yourself.
Is my ambition a sickness?
Yes.
Why should I try if my fate is already written for me?
Given the same inputs, you will always yield the same outputs. The only way to change fate is to change the inputs fed into the machine. The issue is you confuse the monotony you have crafted for yourself as something biblical. You are the source of your misery and simultaneously the source of your joy. Convince me there is fate and in the same breath place a handgun at the roof of your mouth.
Should I excersise Humility?
You are given the choice to impose your will on whatever variables you choose. Whether these outcomes are mass genocide, immense monetary gain, or a life of "good enough" is up to you. Give the choice between an okay life and a life of trading long periods of suffering in return for the ability to carve out history, I choose to carve out history.
What about those who do not want as much?
Moderation is for cowards.
What if things are too risky?
Risk is often mistaken for Volatility. Things that are volatile oftentimes contain the most arbitrage because the masses only like to pursue the "sure things" the issue here is that you are compensated accordingly. At the core volatility is the arbitrage base upon which you play the game. The results are not guaranteed which is why they yield outsized returns. If you want mediocre returns please remain on the path of least resistance and the path of least stress.
